Ridge and Soffit Vents
Proper attic ventilation systems balance air intake (at your eaves or soffits) and air exhaust (at or near your roof ridge). Proper ventilation is not only required by building codes – it’s an integral part of the Kwaske Roofing System.
The combination of soffit vents and ridge vents work together to pull air through the attic – air enters the soffit vent (intake), located under the eaves, flows up through the hip vents and out the ridge vent (exhaust) at the peak of the roof – with NO required use of energy!
Ridge Vents used together with Soffit Vents ensure proper air circulation to increase energy efficiency, prevent roof and attic problems related to moisture and temperature, and reduce utility bills.
